What a name!

NUS has many many different interest groups. Some are those groups which I personally don't even know existed even after more than 2 years breathing the air here in Kent Ridge. Take for example this play production by the NUS Indonesian kids to be held in the University Cultural Centre. Their PR guys really went all out with posters plastered everywhere in campus and even an ad on the IVLE sidebar.

But what I find really really funny is the name of the society. They called themselves Perhimpunan Indonesia NUS and use the acronym PINUS. Wth?!?! Ok ok I try not to make fun of them but seriously with a name like PINUS, how can you not make fun of them. Imagine in the future when being interviewed by their prospective employer with them proudly saying, "During my time in NUS, I am an active member of the NUS PINUS!". Good job la guys!!
